Angel Fire Nordic Center Pre-Super Bowl Party, noon to 4:00. Located at the Angel Fire Country Club. Enjoy wine and chocolate tastings.  The Famous Shovel Races

It's back for the 3rd year since they re-started the decades old tradition at the Angel Fire Resort! Place yout hind quarters in a steel shovel, tear down the mountain for your best time. Cash prizes and bragging rights make for intense competition at this exciting winter tradition! New to the sport? Attend a clinic and practice on Saturday, and race on Sunday. Everyone is invited to attend. Registration will be held Feb. 11th at the Resort.

Ice Fishing Tournament

Annual Eagle Nest Lake Ice Fishing Tournament. Registration begins at 6:00 am at the South Boat Ramp in the day use picnic area off Fisherman's Lane. The tournament will end at 2:30 pm.
