"The Enchanted Circle" New Mexico's most spectacular scenic byway, an 85-mile loop winding through high mountains and forests. Experience five charming villages, each with its own character: Angel Fire, an alpine resort - Eagle Nest, a lakeside village - Red River, a frontier town - Taos, an arts mecca - Questa, wild river country AND, you'll love our climate year-round!

In every direction from Angel Fire, in and around the Enchanted Circle, there's plenty of room to roam. Set up base camp in Angel Fire and strike out for a few of these adventures.
(check out the Enchanted Circle website for more details)

Around Taos you'll run into the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, Wild Rivers Recreation Area and Taos Pueblo. Beyond lies the Chama Valley and the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad.

Check out Eagle Nest Lake State Park where you can cast your line for kokanee salmon and rainbow trout, or visit the old west town of Red River or explore history in nearby Cimarron, home of the Philmont Scout Ranch. Toward Santa Fe, find Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs, Ghost Ranch, Bandelier National Monument, Puye Cliff Dwellings and more. South towards Las Vegas is Coyote Creek State Park, the Salman Raspberry Ranch, the Cleveland Roller Mill Museum, and the Mora National Fish Hatchery.
